GLASS FIBER CHOPPED STRANDS
Structural filler of cut fiberglass chopped strands. To reinforce resins of polyester, epoxy and acrylic resin Jesmonite.
Low styrene emission resins containing paraffin that blocks the styrene evaporation and make their application more comfortable. Thanks to the ADHyECO technology, do not limit its grip in comparison with other low styrene-emission resins.
RP POREX is an unsaturated polyester resin, orthophthalic, pre-accelerated, medium reactivity, medium viscosity, diluted in styrene and methacrylic monomer.
This resin does not affect the styrofoam
Because of its composition, it is a resin especially indicated for uses where good adhesion to expanded or extruded polystyrene is required (porex / styrofoam / white cork)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The resin does not break the porex by contact, but it is important to take into account that it is necessary to avoid accumulating thicknesses or accumulations of resin because the resin when hardening can get too hot, and in that case, due to the heat if it could deteriorate the material.
The OCL transparent polyester resin for casting is a surprise for its stunning transparency. Thanks to its formulation, it gets almost finished lens, similar to ice. It is a perfect resin for inclusions and thanks to its very low viscosity, does not keep inside bubbles and heated moderately for curing. Therefore, extends the life of the molds and castings supports larger sizes.
UV GLASS POLYESTER is an unsaturated polyester resin, Orthophthalic, low reactivity, medium viscosity, pre-accelerated, controlled exotherm, and with very high transparency, especially suitable for surfboards. It has been formulated for highly transparent surfaces with quick drying.
features:
Polynt Technology
Sunlight estabilized
Surfboards
Polyester resin for casting is not promoted and it is the most versatile resin because it can be adapted to our needs. Thanks to its low viscosity accept a significant mix ratio of fillers, achieving greatly increased the volume of the casting.
It is a very transparent resin that does not turn off the colors of pigments or charges. This resin is not accelerated and can be adapted by the proportion of cobalt octoate to get set drying times, or facilitate cast of significant sizes.
Polyester resins require additives for curing properly. Apart from the essential catalyst of MEK Peroxide, in this section you can find:
Promoter: to reduce the working time and curing the resin
Retardant: to extend the working time of the resin.
Flexible resin, to mix with any polyester and achieve greater tenacity and strength.
Thickening: Aerosil to increase viscosity
Styrene and Paraffin Styrene: to lower the viscosity and eliminate the superficial tacky
Pigmented colored pastes for polyester resins. Presentation in formats of 100 and 500gr.
Transparent concentrated pigment for polyester and epoxy resins. Presentation in 50gr format.
Pigments with very high performance.
They are not suitable for Jesmonite Acrylic Resin. You can check Pigments for Jesmonite in this category.
Fillers for polyester resin fulfill specific functions. They are divided into 2 large types:
Functional Fillers
Give the polyester resin different mechanical characteristics. Lightness, strength, weight, viscosity, volume ... in this way you can improve and adapt the resins to our specific application.
Decorative Fillers
Although they do not contribute to increase mechanical characteristics, provide decorative effects that allow the user to give the desired finish to their pieces. We have metal fillers of bronze, copper, brass as well as mineral charges that allow artificial stone to be manufactured. The pigments for the resin, although they can be defined as a decorative filler, because of their very low proportion, we frame them in a separate section.
It is important to keep in mind that in decorative fillers, if the usual proportions are exceeded, the piece can be mechanically weakened.
The Polyester Mastic is a very useful accessory for straightening any surface of fiberglass. It can be used to cover cracks, repair holes quickly and efficiently.
You can find the putty with or without fiber, depending on the need. The fine for smooth surfaces and the fiberglass for structural repairs
